NOKIA! That is the manufacturer's name that comes to mind when it comes to music themed mobile cell phones, and they are at it again with the addition of the Nokia X3 brand to their fold. Nokia X3 is a slide phone of dimensions 96x49.3x14.1mm and a light weight of 103grams. The X3 Nokia brand is a 2G Cell phone that supports quad band GSM850/900/1800/1900 networks.
Nokia X3 has a 2.2 inches active matrix technology display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels supporting up to 262,144
colors. Nokia X3 has a good camera of 3.2 mega pixel resolution with a CMOS sensor. Apart from the ability to take images with up to 2048x1536
resolution, the camera can also record video up to a resolution of 176x144 pixels at 15
frames/second. While images can be stored in JPEG file formats, the videos can be saved in mpeg-4 and 3gp
formats. Features like 4xdigital zoom, full focus, photo editor, self timer, dedicated
camera key, capture mode etc are also provided.
Nokia X3 has a music player, a standard S40 video player and an FM Radio. While
the music player can play MP3/WAV/EAAC+/WMA files, the video player can play MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV files The phone has a built in FM radio antenna and can download favorite music from Nokia's music store directly to the phone.
Nokia X3 comes with an inbuilt WAP 2.0/XHTML browser which enable users to access the internet directly from the
cell phone. Although Nokia X3 supports class 32 GPRS and Class 32 EDGE, it does not support 3G and Wifi features. While messaging options include instant messaging,MMS version i.3, SMS in conversational view and Nokia Xpress audio
messaging, the phone is provided with Blue tooth v2.1 with A2DP and micro USB features for communication with other
devices. Other features provided include automatic redial, integrated hand free
speaker phone, themes, ringtones, calculator, organizer,voice memo,T9 and flash Lite. Nokia X3 supports java games and applications which can easily be installed.
Nokia X3 is provided with an internal memory of 46MB.This memory can however be expanded to 16GB by using an external microSD card Up to 2000 entries can be stored in the phonebook. A standard Li-ion battery of 860mAh offers a stand by time of 380 hours/7 hours and 30minutes talk
time. On the other hand, this battery on a single charge can play music for 26
hours. Apart from the fact that the charger is very efficient  Nokia X3, has "UNPLUG CHARGER' reminder feature. Nokia X3 comes in two
color combinations of Red/black and Blue/silver.
